"I'm grateful for the Lozada Foundation's tremendous and longstanding commitment to Hartford's kids,” said Mayor Luke Bronin. “Our dedicated firefighters and police have always been great partners of the Lozada Foundation, and I look forward to seeing them square off on the field to have some fun and raise some money to support the foundation's mission."
Tickets are available for $10 per person. Proceeds will be directed to mentorship and scholarship programs by the Julio Lozada Foundation, HFD and HPD. The Foundation thanks the City of Hartford, The Hartford Society of Latin American Firefighters and retired Fire Chief Edward Casares for their continued support.
"The Lozada Foundation and the Hartford Fire Department will always share a special bond which will never be shaken or broken," said Fire Chief Reginald Freeman. Chief Freeman went on to state, "We are steadfast to our commitment to the Lozada Foundation and look forward to a fun filled day with our respective Lozada and Hartford Police Department families."
